Artist statement

I am an Australian Visual Artist.
My Art work reflects a lifelong passion for drawing and painting.

My goal was always to be a portrait painter, inspired by timeless masters like John Singer Sargent, Joaquin Sorolla, and the contemporary Australian artist, Robert Hannaford.

Although my work is predominately figurative, like those artists who paint portraits, I also like to paint still life and landscapes.

I believe each exercise creates endless challenges and allows one to become a better painter.
